Do you have 10 inches?
Not happy with what other browsers are doing for you on your tablet?
Vivaldi has your back.
Many browsers are compatible with smartphones, not tablets. But at Vivaldi we take tablet browsing seriously.
And that’s why we go big on tablets, working to optimize the browser specifically for those larger screens. Most browsers just do not do this. So, if you are a “bigger better” person when it comes to screen size, make the most of your tablet with Vivaldi.
Our latest update, Vivaldi 5.0, has a completely new and extremely flexible design – including a side panel – to better optimize your screen space on tablets and Chromebooks.
Unlike other browsers, Vivaldi’s interface on a tablet is designed to stand out with features such as real tabs, synchronization, built-in note logging, optimal lateral and portrait browsing, built-in tracker and ad blocker, Vivaldi Translate and (presented in today’s version) dual-stack stacks Levels.
The big bang on your tablet: Get the most out of Vivaldi.
The user experience on tablets and phones is different. A great Android tablet browser should be designed with large screens in mind. A larger screen opens up many options for how the application’s user interface (UI) is displayed. And that’s why we invested so much love, care and attention to make Vivaldi tablets and Chromebooks just for you!
Displays built-in panels, first in tablets.

One thing that puts Vivaldi ahead of other Android browsers is the unique and first-of-its-kind user interface. And now we’m picking it up with a whole new design, especially flexible for you.
Log in to panels.
With tablets, you can optimize the screen space available on tablets and Chromebooks. Key functionality is all at the hard distance.
Panels now pop up on the left side of the screen, just like the default desktop configuration, to give you that familiar feel.
Now, you can keep your access tool handy in the browser sidebar. Work with your history, downloads, bookmarks and notes on a split screen with your main browser window.
Turning the panel on and off is as easy as tapping the panel button in the top right corner of the location bar. It makes better use of screen space and facilitates more efficient workflows.
Tables mean options. Open dialog boxes to add, edit, and move comments and bookmarks directly in the panel. Open and edit notes in full screen! Change your download settings and clear your browsing history. Quickly track a bookmark and open it in a new tab so you can organize your workflow directly from the panel.
Feel that you are missing out on something? Put this big screen to use once.

When browsing on a mobile or tablet where every pixel is important, the screen space is at a great price. Combined with beauty, Vivaldi’s functionality is designed to suit tablets – and tablet users:
Real Desktop Style Tabs: This makes surfing great, and makes it easy to track open tabs. Of course, you can also use the Tab Switcher (on the right side of the bottom toolbar) to access and manage your tabs as well.
Tab stacks on two levels: Another first in browsers, the two-tier browser tabs are a solution that will eliminate your tab troubles. So if you’re already hoarding tabs on your Android, it’s likely that two – level tabs will make your life a lot easier, keep your screen tidy and feel tidy in the face of an overload of tabs. Tabs within a group will appear in the second row, but they will remain hidden when you do not need them.
Sliding tab bar and address bar: Just like in the desktop version of Vivaldi, the tab bar and address bar are configurable. Take them to the bottom or top, whenever you want, and keep these key points of contact at hand.

More screen space: You can enable or disable the system status bar at the top. Although it is part of the Android user interface, Vivaldi can display the browser window above it (a bit like activating “full screen” mode).
More space: The new tab interface not only stands out but allows you to play with more screen space. This includes smaller tabs for faster access to tabs. By removing the close button on the entire active tab, each tab can be as small as the favicon icon.
Landscape mode: Unlike other browsers, we have an intuitively designed user interface for portrait and landscape modes. Landscape mode comes with a larger width. When the browser becomes lateral, it will not look like longitudinal. For maximum space – and easy access – the toolbar is removed at the bottom and the buttons are moved up.
Browsing in dark mode: If you are a dark mode fan, you can now enable / disable dark themes for any webpage from the settings that will display in the Dark Theme menu. Just go to dark-theme-settings mode for web pages.
First of all privacy: Integrated ad and tracking blocks away from intrusive advertisements and helps web pages load faster. Vivaldi Translate allows you to translate web pages and text in a browser out of the reach of Big Tech’s curious eyes. You can also synchronize browser data between devices with end-to-end encryption. And of course, Vivaldi is not following you either.
Insert your tablet! And download Vivaldi 5.0 for free.
