Overview
Here we will understand about the configuration of .env file in Shopware. We will also see how admin and main page will open after setting.
.Env file location
It is located in the root directory where store software was installed. If this file does not appear in the directory, click ctrl + h button.
File configuration
Now we will see what kind of changes we need to make in the .env file.

You can check the configuration of the .env file in the Snapshot above. If you want to set up Shopware at a different URL, you need to make some changes to the file above.
The changes that need to be made are inside App_url. Here you need to add the URL of the store where you want to open the site.
In two steps you need to add a database name in DATABASE_URL. Details should be added approx Detail Db / Name Db.
Now, the final steps you need to add to the path of the installed shopware directory. You can add it in COMPOSER_HOME. The path should be like this root directory path / var / cache / composer.
This is how we can set up the store tool.
Other than that if you want to undo the cache, type “0” in SHOPWARE_HTTP_CACHE_ENABLED = 0. And to run a “1” cache at SHOPWARE_HTTP_CACHE_ENABLED = 1.
And on the other hand if you want to change the environment in APP_ENV then type APP_ENV = prod for production and type APP_ENV = dev for development mode.
