installation
- After purchasing the app from Webkul store, you will get the link to download the zip file of the module.
- Extract the file on your system after the download is complete. As a result, you can see a folder called 'sentiment_analysis' (you can get a technical nem from the respective module's odoo app).
- Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo add-ons path.
- Now, open the Odoo app and click on the settings menu. Here, click on Enable Developer Mode.
- Then, open the apps menu and click on 'update module list'.
- In the search bar, remove all filters and search for 'sentiment_analysis'.
- You can see the module in the search results. Click Install to install it.

Workflow
- To enable sentiment analysis in your Odoo Sentiment Analysis first, you need to get started Key mode and then open the Technical definition.
- Under Technical Setup > AI Server Configuration > New, with the help of the following steps you can connect the necessary Model type and server for text analysis.
- Now open Technical Setup > Sentiment Analysis > Sentiment Rules.
- by clicking on “new Admin can create new sentiment rules and also modify predefined rules by clicking on them.
- In sentiment rules, the admin needs to provide a title for the rule and also set a conditional sentiment score to sort messages as negative or positive.
You must select “Message Type” and “Email Template”. You must also state the names of the persons concerned in the “Notice to”.
- After clicking on “Email Template” as shown in the image above, the administrator easily changes the email template according to his need.
- Under the chatter of any tasks related to projects, Gamification, discussion, etc. you can analyze your internal communication and get a sentiment score for each comment.
- An admin can also analyze customer reviews as negative or positive on the front of the site and also change the visibility of comments.
- When every user of the portal leaves a negative comment on the product.
- Then admin can hide the negative comment from the product page. In this mode, negative comments will only be shown to the administrator and the portal user who commented.
- Other portal users will only be able to see positive comments.
- To hide negative comments from the Odoo backend, open Technical definition > message > Open the message you want to hide > Turn on “For the employee only” possibility.
- Admin and followers will receive an email message according to the sentiment rules defined by them b Step 5.
