Which Adobe app should a complete beginner start with?

It depends on your goal. For photos and general image editing, start with Photoshop. For logos, icons, and illustrations, start with Illustrator. For videos, start with Premiere Pro. Pick the one that matches the work you actually want to produce.

Do I need the full Creative Cloud subscription to learn?

No. Adobe offers single-app plans at a lower price, and there is usually a free trial available for each application. For learning purposes, a single-app plan is often the best value while you build skills.

How long does it take to become comfortable with an Adobe app?

Most beginners feel comfortable with the basics within a few weeks of consistent practice and reach an intermediate level within several months. Speed and confidence grow steadily with daily use rather than long occasional sessions.

Are free tutorials enough, or should I pay for a course?

Free tutorials are enough to reach a strong intermediate level if you choose them carefully. Paid structured courses can shorten the learning curve by providing a clear path and assignments, but they are not strictly required.

What is the best way to practice without burning out?

Set a small realistic goal, limit sessions to about an hour, focus on one technique at a time, and balance structured tutorials with personal projects. Stopping while you still feel curious is better than pushing until you feel exhausted.
